I'm an ultra marathoner who'd been running in the Nike Vomero prior to these shoes. I kept seeing people with an almost cult-like adoration of the Lundarglide - and I just had to see what all the fuss was about. I've got to say - they are worth all the hype! I absolutely love these shoes, and they've become my 'go-to' shoe for everything except hard trails. I even wear them on some light trails (but if you're going anywhere near mud, I'd suggest wearing a trail shoe - these have no grip in mud).
Unlike the previous reviewer who found the shoes worn out in 100 miles, I currently have over 500km on mine - and they still feel great. In fact, I went into a shoe store a few days ago and tried on a brand new pair just for comparison - and my shoes still feel very close to the new ones. I'm also no lightweight at ~200 pounds and over 6' tall - so these shoes are getting a workout and holding up great.
Pros:
-Super lightweight
-Very flexible and responsive - just an amazing feel
-Support when you need it, and neutral when you don't
Cons:
-The black rubber on the outsole is wearing a *tad* faster than other shoes - but after 500km there's still lots left
-My only real beef - there's a small space in the heel tread that just loves to pick up small rocks. You'd never know the little rock was there - except that you hear a 'click... click... click....' every time that foot touches down till you stop and pop the rock out. Just a minor gripe - and I wouldn't trade the flexibility that notch no-doubt provides...
